Rodney Carl Maddox 11 was the first born son of Carl Owen 10 and Edna L. (Ingraham) Maddox, born 13 July 1946 at Marietta, Washington County, Ohio. Rodney graduated from Warren High School, Vincent, Washington County, Ohio in 1964.
Rodney Entered the U. S. Navy in 1965. He attended Medical Corpsman School at the Great Lakes Naval Command, was assigned to the National Naval Air Station, Washington D. C. and to the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. In 1970 he was assigned to the U. S. S. Borie, DD-704 (Destroyer) out of Norfolk, Virginia for a period of two weeks reserve training. While at the National Naval Medical Center he was the senior corpsman (medical tech.) of Ward 4-D, a cardiology and burn facility. Rodney went to reserve status and was discharged in February 1971.
In June, 1969 Rodney joined the Marietta Police Department, Marietta, Washington County, Ohio. He received his training at the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, attended numerous other schools related to police work.. In 1976 he was promoted to investigator (detective) and worked mostly felony cases.

Rodney became interested in genealogy and has conducted research into the Maddox, Eaton, Ingraham and Noland Families and with the help of family has built and put two websites on the internet, www.maddox-eaton.cjb.net His son, Zachary is the webmaster and from these websites we have collected information from others who have viewed them and contacted us.
