Impossible dates, misdated gravestones, and claims the records themselves cannot support.

  • Anna Maria Elizabeth (Cheuvront) Maddox's gravestone is engraved 7 November 1886, but the source documents her death as 7 November 1866 and states the stone is not correct.
  • Katherine “Katie” Maddox (generation 9) is listed as born 1866, which precedes her parents' 1885 marriage and her brother George William's 1888 birth; likely a source typographical error (perhaps for 1886). Retained verbatim.
  • Oliver V. Dailey is listed as born 9 January 1855, which precedes his parents' 1882 marriage; likely a source error (perhaps for 1885). Retained verbatim.
  • John Kenner Tracewell's death is printed as 11 November 1833, before his 1847 birth; likely a source error for 1933. Retained verbatim.
  • Eliza Louisa Maddox (born 1817) has a printed marriage date of 19 September 1823, at age about six; likely a source error. Retained verbatim.
  • Hiram Loring Maddox's dates are printed as '(born-15 February 1912)'; because a 1912 birth is impossible for a child of Thomas Maddox (1820-1901), 15 February 1912 is recorded here as his death date.
  • David Graham's birth is printed as 22 November 1974, which would make him a child at his 1983 marriage; likely a source error. Retained verbatim.
  • Bertha Winebrenner is listed as born 1874, two years before her parents' recorded 1876 marriage. Retained verbatim.
  • Franklin Maddox, Jr. is listed as born 1896, one year before his parents' recorded 1897 marriage. Retained verbatim.
  • America Maddox is recorded as born 27 May 1843, a few months before her parents' recorded 3 September 1843 marriage. Retained verbatim.
  • Sisters Mary E. Ott (born 29 November 1859) and Rebecca Ott (born 29 February 1860) have birth dates only three months apart. Retained verbatim.
  • Sisters Elizabeth Betty Maddox (born 22 November 1860) and Sarah Maddox (born 20 February 1861) have birth dates only three months apart. Retained verbatim.
  • Jane Teressa Neale's birth (15 June 1799) precedes her parents' recorded 11 July 1807 marriage. Retained verbatim.
  • Juliet Sheets (1847) and Florence Byrd Sheets (24 January 1847) are both recorded as born in 1847. Retained verbatim.
  • Harrison Maddox (born 19 February 1819) and Hannah Maddox (born 14 December 1819), children of Alfred Alpheous Maddox, are both recorded as born in 1819. Retained verbatim.
  • The document numbers two consecutive chapters as 'CHAPTER 12' (James Ray Maddox, then Rodney Carl Maddox); the following chapter for Jerrold Lee Maddox is 'CHAPTER 13'.
  • The typed Maddox–Romine Bible report gives Samuel Romine and Miranda Bridges a marriage date of 19 December 1888 while also identifying their daughter Therese as born in 1840; the impossible chronology is not imported as a family event pending review of the copied Bible pages.
  • The 1850 Washington County Eaton abstract lists Amos Eaton twice, at ages 22 and 23, in two different households; the compiler's proposed identity is not imported without the original census schedule.
  • The likely George Eaton households in the 1860 Washington County and 1870 Malaga Township abstracts give conflicting Virginia and Ohio birthplaces for Ellen/Mary Ellen; neither spouse identity is imported without stronger evidence.
  • The 1900 Samuel Eaton-line abstract contradicts itself about whether Margaret D. Smith or Mary Ann Harmon was Elizabeth Eaton Foreaker's mother; neither parentage claim is imported.
  • The 1930 Harris District Eaton abstract transcribes five child ages as malformed fractions (4 1/1, 3 4/1, 1 8/1, 3 2/1, and 1 1/0); no exact or approximate birth dates are derived from them.
  • The short compiled ROMINE FAMILY HISTORY Isa Pearl Romine Hazen sheet says that Isa Pearl Hazen, born 19 January 1877, would have been 60 in 1947; she would have been about 70. The arithmetic error is not imported as an age or death fact, and the sheet is treated as a duplicate of the already registered 1947 Maddox–Romine report.
