Entered Jackson County, West Virginia in 1887. Died testate; by his will dated 6 May 1921 (probated 17 June 1921, Jackson County Circuit Court, will book 4, page 120) he devised the Parsons Run tract to his widow Rachel M. Robbins for life; after her death the property passed to the heirs (deed recorded 7 September 1946, fee book 240 and 241) and was later sold out of the family, the heirs retaining all mineral rights.

Laura Estella Robbins was born 20 November 1895 in a log house on Parsons Run, Medina area, Jackson County, West Virginia. Her parents were William Alexander Robbins and Rachel (Thompson) Robbins. Laura went to the Lockhart School and the Lockhart United Methodist Church, which was about a mile walk each way.

Stephen Robbins entered Jackson County, West Virginia in 1882. He bought property on Parson Run from Albert Lockhart (1840-1905). Stephens son, William Alexander Robbins entered Jackson County, West Virginia in 1887.

William Alexander Robbins died testate, 12 June 1921 and by his will dated 6 May 1921, probated 17 June 1921 in Jackson County Circuit Court and filed in said Courts Clerks Office in will book 4, page 120, he devised said tract of land (Parsons Run) unto his widow, Rachel M. Robbins, for life. After the death of Rachel, the property fell into the hands of the heirs and the deed was recorded at 9:30 am on 7 September 1946, found in fee book 240 and 241. Later, the property fell out of the ownership of the heirs (by sale), but all mineral rights were retained by the heirs. A copy of this is attached to the master Maddox Family History file.
